The Wilding of Sarah Palin By The Liberal Left

Friday, November 27th, 2009

It’s the day after Thanksgiving and one thing that honest big-C Conservatives should have expressed thanks for yesterday is Sarah Palin. Palin was a breath of fresh air in last year’s election campaign — she also breathed a big bunch o’ life into John McCain’s efforts, who found himself paired up against a Titanic-sized wave of destiny and looked pretty weak and used up in comparison. Palin was the pit bull, the rabid badger gnawing her way through all the tough issues like abortion, birthing Downs’ babies, the 2nd Amendment and so forth.

Sarah Palin -- The Real Deal! The Left is scared absolutely shitless of Sarah Palin. I always thought that it was because of her beliefs and her ability to express them without remorse. But after reading Robin of Berkeley’s piece at American Thinker, I see that it runs much deeper than that. A former hard-core big-L Liberal from whose eyes the scales have fallen, Robin explains what the Left is doing: They are “Wilding” her — just as they “Wild” anyone that doesn’t kowtow to liberal dogma. Here’s a taste of Robin’s thoughts, but you really owe it to yourself to go and read ALL of this one!

Then along came Sarah, and the attacks became particularly heinous. And I realized something even more chilling about the Left. Leftists not only sacrifice and disrespect women, but it’s far worse: many are perpetuators.

The Left’s behavior towards Palin is not politics as usual. By their laser-focus on her body and her sexuality, leftists are defiling her.

They are wilding her. And they do this with the full knowledge and complicity of the White House.

The Left has declared war on Palin because she threatens their existence. Liberals need women dependent and scared so that women, like blacks, will vote Democrat.

A strong, self-sufficient woman, Palin eschews liberal protection. Drop her off in the Alaskan bush and she’ll survive just fine, thank you very much. Palin doesn’t need or want anything from liberals — not hate crimes legislation that coddles her, and not abortion, which she abhors.

Palin is a woman of deep and abiding faith. She takes no marching orders from messiah-like wannabes like Obama.

And so the Left must try to destroy her. And they are doing this in the most malicious of ways: by symbolically raping her.

Just like a perpetuator, they dehumanize her by objectifying her body. They undress her with their eyes.

They turn her into a piece of ass.

Liberals do this by calling her a c__t, ogling her legs, demeaning her with names like “slutty flight attendant” and “Trailer Park Barbie,” and exposing her flesh on the cover of Newsweek.

{…}

The extreme Left still consider themselves warriors, righteous soldiers for their Marxist cause. With Palin, they use sexual violence as part of their military arsenal.

Palin is not the only intended victim. As Against Our Will described, the brutality is also aimed at men. By forcing men to witness Palin’s violation, the Left tries to emasculate conservative men and render them powerless.

{…}

It has been almost two years since I woke up and broke up with liberalism. During these many months, I’ve discovered that everything I believed was wrong.

But the biggest shock of all has been realizing that the Democratic Party is hardly an oasis for women. Now that it has been infiltrated by the hard Left, it’s a dangerous place for women, children, and other living things.

In the wilding of Sarah Palin, the Left shows its true colors. Rather than sheild the vulnerable, leftists will mow down any man, woman, or child who gets in their way. Instead of a movement of hope and change, it is a cauldron of hate.

Sarah Palin -- Real Change for AmericaPresident Obama has surrounded himself with radical Leftists and his administration is rife with their philosophy of misogyny, their stated goal to change everything, especially the very fabric of our nation, their determination to destroy what’s pure and good about the United States of America!

Sarah Palin is a giant speed bump in the highway of their statist objectives. She’s not just another woman politician — Sarah Palin is the real deal.

Move over Obamessiah — “It’s gonna take a woman to clean up this YOUR mess!”

Obama At The U.N. To Save — Everything! Has The World Gone Mad? Film At Eleven

Obama Be Da Shit

After a Sunday AM new-show blitz and a Mon. eve. appearance with David Letterman, and with his Cap & Trade legislation stalled in Congress, getting more and more attention by folks terrified of huge tax increases for energy, and with his health care agenda being attacked by both right and left, what’s a good little Obamessiah to do? Why, go to the U.N. of course and overexpose himself some more. Lots more!

So, after deciding to become the first President of the United States to preside over a meeting of the UN Security Council on the 24th, proceeded by a couple of days hobnobbing with the diplomats in the General Assembly, what do ya think he would pick for his opening topic? The wars in Iraq and Afghanistan? Nope. The resurgence of Al-Qaeda and the Taliban? Nope. The looming terror threat of 12 Al-Qaeda sleeper agents on the loose right now in the U.S. giving the F.B.I. and Secret Service fits? Nope. The timid economic recovery and increasing unemployment within the context of the interconnected world economy? Nope. Well, Okie — what the hell was it then?

Climate change.

Bwwhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! You say. You got to be totally off your rocker. But wait — like Ginzu — there’s more. According to CBS News who quotes the Chosen One thus:

“It is true that for too many years, mankind has been slow to respond to or even recognize the magnitude of the climate threat. It is true of my own country as well,” Mr. Obama said at a climate change forum hosted by United Nation Secretary General Ban Ki-moon. “But this is a new day. It is a new era. And I am proud to say that the United States has done more to promote clean energy and reduce carbon pollution in the last eight months than at any other time in our history.”

Reread that last comment slowly . . . The hubris of this guy is astounding! Bet this next one bags our smoker-ion-chief a box o’ Cubans: Fidel Castro praises Obama on climate changeNoooooooo. Reeeeeally? Aw, shucks — Dude!

Barack Obama’s call for action on climate change and his admission that rich nations have a particular responsibility to lead has received strong praise from an unusual source — U.S. nemesis Fidel Castro.

The former Cuban leader on Wednesday called the American president’s speech at the United Nations “brave” and said no other American head of state would have had the courage to make similar remarks.

Actually, no other American head of state would have had the courage temerity to make similar remarks. After that tour de force, on the same day, he decided to tackle Israeli/Palestinian peace: the lack of progress on this is making him . . . ah, cranky.

“It is past time to stop talking about starting negotiations; it is time to move forward,” Mr. Obama said Tuesday after meeting with the Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, and the president of the Palestinian Authority, Mahmoud Abbas, on the margins of the United Nations General Assembly’s opening.

“Permanent status negotiations must begin and begin soon,” Mr. Obama said, flanked by Mr. Netanyahu and Mr. Abbas. “So my message to these two leaders is clear: despite all the obstacles, all the history, all the mistrust, we have to find a way forward.”

Today, he’s addressing the ENTIRE WORLD and telling them that Uncle Sam ain’t gonna be there for them anymore, not on his watch!

In his first address to the U.N. General Assembly, Obama sought to set a new tone in U.S. relations, moving away from the unilateralism of his predecessor, George W. Bush. He coupled conciliatory words about a “new era of engagement” with a summons for other nations to shoulder more of the burden.

“Those who used to chastise America for acting alone in the world cannot now stand by and wait for America to solve the world’s problems alone,” Obama said.

“Now is the time for all of us to take our share of responsibility for a global response to global challenges.”

In response to Obama’s speech Michelle Malkin writes:

Former U.N. Ambassador John Bolton noted Obama’s extraordinary self-referentialism mixed with Wilsonian naivete and anti-Bush subtext, and joked that the president “did everything but break out and ask ‘Can’t we all just get along?’”

There was a momentary delay before blood-stained, jihadi-enabling thug Moammar Gadhafi took the podium. He’s babbling about “climate change” and waving around the U.N. charter. Praises “our son” from Africa, Barack Obama.

It’s a cum-bye-ya world, don’t ya know? If you ask reeeal nice, and put some purty-please with some suga on it, them bad ol’ boys around the globe will just stop all that killin’, all that nuclear-bomb makin’, all them wemen-desecratin’ activities, join hands and create a Utopia right here on this ol’ Earth.

And, he ain’t done yet! Tomorrow — he presides over the UN Security Council meeting where my bet is he’ll officially announce at least his intention to unilaterally disarm the U.S. nuclear arsenal. That should get him some applause, oh ya betcha!

Can we wake up now? I’m not likin’ this nightmare . . .

Lefty A-holes Try To Bankrupt The Palins

Wednesday, March 25th, 2009

The hatred of Sarah Palin by the Left is past the derangement level — it’s totally pathological. In evidence, they are now trying to bankrupt her and her family via endless trivial lawsuits. NRO has the skinny:

While holding elected officials accountable is laudable, most of the matters are beyond trivial. One of the complaints against her was for talking to reporters about the presidential campaign while she was in the governor’s office. Another objected to her office press secretary offering a statement to clarify a statement put out by her political action committee. The latest complaint is that Palin wore snow-machine gear advertising her husband Todd’s sponsor, Arctic Cat Inc, while “in her official duties as governor” when she served as the “official starter” of the race.

Ooooo — the travesty of it all!

So, what’s the defense total so far? Try half a million bucks! If she has to create a legal defense fund I’ll put up a link.

What If — Sarah Palin Were President, Vice President Or Sec. of State?

Wednesday, March 18th, 2009

The D.C. Examiner’s Noemie Emery asks and answers that question:

Now that the Obama presidency is nearing the 60-day mark, it’s time to thank those fastidious scribes on the left and the right who worked so hard to warn us against Gov. Sarah Palin of Alaska, and the dire things that would surely occur if she ever got close to executive power.
How right they were to insist that she was unfit for high office. Let’s just imagine what she might have done:

As president, she might have caused the stock market to plunge over 2,000 points in the six weeks after she assumed office, left important posts in the Treasury unfilled for two months, been described by insiders as ‘overwhelmed’ by the office, and then gone on to diss the British Prime Minister on his first state visit, giving him, as one head of state to another, a set of DVDs plucked from the aisles of Wal Mart, a tasteful gift, even if they can’t be played on a TV in Britain. (Note, the Prime Minister, who is losing his eyesight, may even be blind in one eye).

As vice president, she might have told Katie Couric that when the stock market crashed in 1929, President Franklin D. Roosevelt went on TV to reassure a terrified nation. Or on her first trip abroad as Secretary of State, she might have, as the AP reported, “raised eyebrows on her first visit to Europe…when she mispronounced her “EU counterparts names and claimed U.S. democracy was older than Europe’s,” then gave the Russian minister a gag “reset” button, on which the word “reset” was translated incorrectly.

What a good thing that Palin, whom Christopher Buckley called “an embarrassment, and a dangerous one,” wasn’t in office to cause such debacles, and that we have Barack Obama, Joe Biden, and Hillary Clinton instead.

Shoot — if nothin’ else, the roasts, beer and coffee served at the White House would be a lot better!

Why Is The GOP Struggling At The Polls?

Tuesday, November 11th, 2008

The last Clark S. Judge column is now posted at Hugh Hewitt’s blog and in it he’s asking the questions that I have been struggling with in how to think about the ongoing failures of the GOP in the last two election cycles.

  • Why has our team repeatedly fumbled the ball on tax and spending cuts? Those failures cost the party the presidency in 1992 and the Congress in 2006. What’s going on here?
  • Why have we been so late to identify emerging issues like energy and the environment and late to ask what besides a government check and a new or bigger agency will address them?
  • In such areas as health care, housing and Social Security, decades of demographic, technological and economic changes are overwhelming and unraveling programs introduced in the 1930s and 40s. Why have we failed to sell the American people on any of our fixes to these failures of government?
  • Walt Whitman heard American singing, but do we? Have we lost touch with the American narrative, with the nuances of the nation’s culture, with the fabric of its life?
  • These are questions. They do not imply answers. But in campaign-consultant speak, the GOP has underperformed at the polls for sometime now. Why?

If you wander around the right side of the Blogosphere there is much post-election analysis and recrimination, especially toward John McCain for being not nearly conservative enough. Well folks, he sure wasn’t, but somehow he won the primaries necessary to become our candidate. We could have had Mitt Romney at the top of the ticket, but as John & Lowell have been documenting for the better part of two years at Article 6 Blog, the evangelicals in our midst just couldn’t help but deep six his campaign over his religion, LDS. So, once again we cut off our nose to spite our face, or trip over our lil’ Richard’s as the case may be.

One ray of sunlight shining on that particular SNAFU is the coalition of religious groups that worked so hard to get CA Prop 8 (CA constitutional amendment for reestablishment of traditional meaning of marriage) on the ballot and passed by a majority of voters. Catholics, evangelicals and yes, Mormons all played a big part in this success. Now, all are needing to pull together even closer to help each other stand up to the ever increasing onslaught of anti-Prop 8 agitators, who having lost at the ballot box are taking to the streets with noise, confusion and now even violence.

All caught on tape, the video shows one protester grabbing the styrofoam cross from Burgess’ hands. Another protesters is shown stomping on it. Burgess says she was struck on the head and spit on.

“The crowd was very angry that someone was here that they felt didn’t belong here,” Burgess said. “But I’ve lived in this city for 30 years.”

“I don’t want to keep it peaceful anymore,” one protester yelled. “We should fight! We should fight!” he shouted.

During a live interview with KPSP Local 2, protesters encircled Burgess. Yelling expletives and hateful slurs, the crowd turned their anger on our news crew. Many were angry that the woman was given a chance to express her opinions.

Your obedient Okie created a simple video for ProtectMarriage.com that runs on YouTube, and my YT profile has been continuously assaulted by the most vicious and profane comments that one could imagine. I simply delete them, and comments are disabled to keep the video page religion and children friendly — no need to expose the innocent to what orifice they can have stuffed with what object, or to learn all the common gutter names for anything/everything sexual. Before these LGBT whack-jobs decide to “fight”, they had better consider that there are a lot more of us than there are of them — and I’ll guarantee that we’re better armed. ;-) At A6B John comments on the protests and their actions against religion in general.

As I have argued I, as an Evangelical, have a moral obligation to come to the aid of the Mormons in the face of this sort of onslaught, but as the protests spread, I have a practical one as well. Simply put, we’re next. Mormons are the battlefront in what is all our battle. The opposition has used the force of the courts and the people of California have said “NO” – now they seek through intimidation and violence to do what they could not achieve legally. They wish to dictate our religious expression and practice to us – first the LDS and then the rest of us. We are not just defending the LDS here, we are defending ourselves.

But I digress a bit. I keep going to that Clark Judge list above; We conservatives must hone our message, it must be relevant to the times and to the young people of America. We must embrace the technologies of communication and build our own MoveOn.org’s and DailyKos’s — and we must think into the future so that we can leverage the technologies of 2012, and 2016 and beyond.

The other side will — if we don’t, we’re as dead as the dodo . . .

I just came back from voting. No line, no Obamaniacs or Prop-8 drama, free Starbucks set up outside if you have your “I Voted” sticker — I hate Starbucks coffee! Too bitter.

Now, it’s just wait until the EST polls begin closing and see how far off the MSM’s reporting will be on the exit polling. In ‘04 they weren’t even close.

If you haven’t voted yet — GO VOTE!

BTW, make that a vote for John McCain.

Voter Intimidation By Black Panthers In Philly!

Tuesday, November 4th, 2008

“We will be at the polls in the cities and counties in many states to ensure that the enemy does not sabotage the black vote, which was won through the blood of the martyrs of our people.”

Yeah — as they say, “The BEAT goes on . . .”

I’ll be voting this afternoon to avoid the crowds. While waking the pooch this AM I saw the Obamonuts out in full force, many looking like they forgot to take their meds. Wish me luck!

John McCain Asks For Our Votes

Monday, November 3rd, 2008

My Friend,

From the time I entered the Naval Academy at age seventeen I have been privileged and honored to serve my country.

Throughout my years of service, I’ve been faced with challenges where I could have taken the easy way out and given up. But I’m an American and I never give up. Instead, I choose to show courage and stand up and fight for the country I love. Today, I am asking you to stand with me and to fight for our country’s future.

Our country faces enormous challenges and our next president must be ready to lead on day one. My lifetime of experience has prepared me to lead our great nation. I’m prepared to bring solutions to our economic challenges, bring our troops home in victory and improve our nation’s healthcare system.

Time and time again, my country has saved my life and I owe her more than she has ever owed me. I have chosen to show my gratitude through a life of service to our country and tomorrow, you will have a choice before you.

I humbly ask you to make the choice that will allow me to serve my country a little while longer by casting your vote to elect me as your next President of the United States.

Finally, I ask that you never forget that much has been sacrificed to protect our right to vote. We must never forget those Americans who, with their courage, with their sacrifice, and with their lives, have protected our freedom. It is my great hope that you will exercise your right to vote as an American tomorrow.

I thank you for your kind support, your dedication to our cause, and most importantly I thank you for your vote.

With sincere appreciation,

John McCain
