Former Governor of the great state of Alaska, Sarah Palin, is speaking to the Southern Republican Leadership Conference today and from the Weekly Standard we get this preview via some of her prepared remarks. Looks like she’s gonna respond to Prez Barry O’s verbal attack on her nuclear knowledge made yesterday in his interview with ABC News.

In foreign policy, we’ve got the makings of the Obama Doctrine: coddling our enemies while alienating allies.

The administration eased sanctions on Cuba and sided with Chavez against Honduran democracy. They won’t bring up human rights with China because, quote, ‘we know what they are going to say.’ They offer tepid sanctions on North Korea and ‘gold stars and cookies’ for the Sudanese President. They send letters to Iranian mullahs but can barely muster a word of support for the Green Movement seeking freedom and women’s rights in Iran!

And President Obama, with all that vast nuclear expertise he acquired as a community organizer, a part-time senator, and a candidate for president, has accomplished nothing to date with Iran or North Korea.

Meanwhile, this administration alienates our friends. {…}

Palin may or may not be running in 2012, but she’s all fired up to support Conservative candidates in the campaigns to take back the House and Senate this fall. On that front, the Dems are tuckin’ tail and runnin’ ‘fraid — with the likes of lyin’ lil Barty Stupak retiring (good riddance!), and a probable 50+ loss of House seats in the makin’! That Dems losing the Senate prediction comes from none other than Dick Morris, former Bill Clinton advisor.

Obama and the Dems seem clueless about the tsunami of voter aggression comin’ their way. If they would have listened to Dick Morris like Clinton did after ’94, they wouldn’t be in such a predicament.

Therefore, one can with a straight face say, “They don’t know DICK!”

According to projections by the Tax Policy Center: About 47% of U.S. households will pay no federal income tax — none, Nada, ZIP! How can that be you ask?

Either their incomes were too low, or they qualified for enough credits, deductions and exemptions to eliminate their liability.

Cool you say! Hope I’m one of that 47%, right? Well, let’s look at that a bit. Those 47 percent of taxpayers do vote, and they want government services and entitlements, so they vote for Representatives and Senators and a President that will raise taxes on the rest of us to keep their nests well-feathered. On any regular year, this would be the eternal push-and-shove of a benevolent America that cares about its poor and wants to help those falling on hard times.

This ain’t that kind o’ year!

This is the year of the TAXINATOR! This is the year of the beginnings of wealth redistribution the likes of which we’ve never seen before in the United States! This is the year of Obama — our first socialist President — in deeds, if not yet in words. Marx would be proud! Consider this Marx quote, “From each, according to his ability; to each, according to his need.” That one must be tattooed on the inside of Barack’s eyelids!

Speaking of Karl Marx — here’s a good one: “[A] new revolution is possible only in consequence of a new crisis[.]“ Sound eerily familiar?

[H/t: Cousin Joe] From his parents and the mentor selected by his grandparents to help him cope with his “blackness”, to his collegiate associations, to his selection of Church in Chicago and closeness to that pastor, to his associations in Illinois to those that he has surrounded himself with in this administration:

Barack Obama has been baptized in and continues to bathe in Marxist/socialist teachings and philosophy.

Why do these guys — Progressives — keep trying to do this? It has never worked — anywhere! It always ends poorly, with hundreds of millions of innocents slaughtered:

Russia! China! Vietnam! Cambodia!

The social democracies of Europe are in decline and will most likely fail, becoming radical-fundamentalist Islamic states.

The Progressives in our midst are in love with being more like Europe!

Which brings up the last item in this rant: a proposed NATIONAL VALUE-ADDED TAX!

Republicans who argue that President Obama’s deficit commission is likely to consider a European-style value-added tax just got some fresh evidence.

Congressional Budget Office director Doug Elmendorf told reporters this morning that his agency is studying a VAT as part of its “strategic planning” for the future — one in which the $1.5 trillion budget deficit and $12.5 trillion debt must be addressed by policy makers.

“Many people in Congress are interested in it,” Elmendorf said, without specifying who.

A VAT is a type of sales tax in which each stage of the production process is taxed. It has the capability of raising huge amounts of revenue for the government.

Just imagine paying an additional 20 to 25 percent federal sales tax on top of your state and local sales taxes, each and every time you buy something. A $4 hamburger would be $5. A $400 net-book would then cost you $500. A $20,000 car would become a $25,000 purchase!

America can’t afford this. The other side of that is the fact that America can’t afford Obamacare, Cap & Tax, and all those federal bailouts without doing something like this — or else we risk hyper-inflation the likes we’ve never seen before. Those of us that made it through the Carter years of stagflation (ever increasing consumer prices along with over 20% interest on cars and homes!) knows of what I write.

Remember Rahm’s words: “You never want a serious crisis to go to waste.”

Time to work like the hairy dickens to get these Progressive Democrats out of power and reestablish some fiscal responsibility — before it really does become too late!

President Barack Obama’s advisers plan to remove terms such as “Islamic radicalism” from a document outlining national security strategy and will use the new version to emphasize that the U.S. does not view Muslim nations through the lens of terrorism, counterterrorism officials say.

The change would be a significant shift in the National Security Strategy, a document that previously outlined the Bush Doctrine of preventive war. It currently states, “The struggle against militant Islamic radicalism is the great ideological conflict of the early years of the 21st century.”

Damn, it must be nice to live in a fantasy state-of-mind where you just talk to those that want to kill us all and they lay down their weapons and pick up some daisies . . . yeah, let’s send the Obamessiah to the war zone and he can talk down all those suicide bombers.

Love to see that play out.

Losers all over this great country are lining up and crying to the heavens, “Where’s my FREE Obamacare?”

Really.

Questions reflecting confusion have flooded insurance companies, doctors’ offices, human resources departments and business groups.

“They’re saying, ‘Where do we get the free Obama care, and how do I sign up for that?’ ” said Carrie McLean, a licensed agent for eHealthInsurance.com. The California-based company sells coverage from 185 health insurance carriers in 50 states.

McLean said the call center had been inundated by uninsured consumers who were hoping that the overhaul would translate into instant, affordable coverage.

I’ve long ago stopped being stunned by the rank stupidity of those that feel entitled. This cradle-to-grave mentality has been promulgated by the Progressive Left for over 100 years and is the cancer that might just finally be the death of the greatest experiment in human freedom in history. Obama promised that he would fundamentally change America, and he has done just that with his uber-radical Health Care Law that our Congress jammed down our throats last month.

As the Democratic candidate Obama promised that he would govern via a bi-partisan approach — he’s broken each and every promise that he made, except for the one mentioned in the preceding ‘graph. He promised to turn us into something else, and he’s been Hell bent on doing just that! To our everlasting detriment if we don’t get this repealed. The only way to do that is to get a GOP majority in Congress this year, and then to retake the Presidency in 2012.

This! Can! Be! Done!

Get involved. Give what you can to those candidates that have a chance to win . . . wherever they happen to be. In my district there’s not a chance in Hell to elect a Republican — so I have to spend my time and precious $$$ elsewhere.

I’m working with the Kitchen Cabinet PAC and that group will target strong fiscal conservatives to support.

Find your group, guy or gal to support — work hard. Consider what is going to happen if we fail . . .

Today the White House released President Obama’s revised nuclear weapons policy!

Under the new policy, the administration will foreswear the use of the deadly weapons against nonnuclear countries, officials said, in contrast to previous administrations, which indicated they might use nuclear arms against nonnuclear states in retaliation for a biological or chemical attack.

Popular Science notes, “In a sharp break from previous administrations, Obama’s Nuclear Posture Review released today dictates the U.S. halt development of any new nuclear weapons[.]”

This just after Newsweek informs us that our Prez wouldn’t be bothered to have a Nuclear Defense Plan review for several MONTHS!! after taking office!

According to a knowledgeable source who would not be identified discussing sensitive national-security matters, President Obama wasn’t briefed on the U.S. nuclear-strike plan against Russia and China until some months after he had taken office. “He thought it was insane,” says the source. (The reason for the delay is unclear; the White House did not respond to repeated inquiries.)

So, let’s review:

Set Healthcare on the path of total destruction: Check!

Begin programs to redistribute wealth: Check!

Destroy the U.S. nuclear arsenal: Workin’ on it!
