The Left’s Hysterical Attempt to Paint the Right As Violent Maniacs — UPDATED

Monday, March 29th, 2010

*** UPDATE *** Here’s some “real” threats of violence on a Congressman, and his family!

PHILADELPHIA – Today, a two-count complaint and warrant was filed charging Norman Leboon with threatening to kill United States Congressman Eric Cantor and his family, and threatening to kill Congressman Eric Cantor, who is an official of the United States, announced United States Attorney Michael L. Levy and FBI Special Agent in Charge Jan Fedarcyk. As set forth in the affidavit to the complaint and warrant, in or about late March, 2010, Leboon created and then transmitted a YouTube video to Google over the internet, in which he threatened to kill Congressman Cantor and his family. No harm came to the Congressman or his family as a result of Leboon’s threats.

As Jammy Wearing Fool notes, that this Left-wing-Muslim was also an Obama donor. Jammy also notes that “Dude should’ve put the crackpipe down about ten years ago.” Heh! *** End Update ***

The Progressive Left is at it again, putting out the narrative that the TEA Party folk are all a bunch of right-wing violence-addicted sociopaths that hate President Obama because he’s black, and want to do violence to the members of Congress that voted for the health-care bill. Take Sherman Yellen’s That Acrid Smell in the Air? Timothy McVeigh-ism at HuffPo for example:

{…}

[W]ith the threats from Republican Congressmen, the bulls-eye targeting of Sarah Palin of the Democrats she disagrees with, and the racist and homophobic curses from the Tea Party ringing in our ears after the passage of the health care bill, I suggest that we take a look backwards at the sad story of Timothy James McVeigh and see the McVeighism that is festering.

Of course no two madmen or assassins with a grudge against the world are ever quite the same. But the common thread that runs through them is a deep sense of victimhood. McVeigh had it, Hitler had it, Oswald had it, Booth had it, and I can see and hear reflections of that dangerous victimhood in the far right today. The anti-government, in this case anti-Obama rhetoric is hate filled, some of it race based, and contains within it an unappeasable grudge — the us against them kind that sets off explosions, kills the innocent, and destroys the security of the country it claims to protect. If we sniff we can smell the burning fuse. There is no constitutional right to inflame sociopaths to commit murderous acts. Cool it Sarah, and all you Republican leaders who are playing to your base, using code words that are well understood by many who feel victimized because of the recession (just as Germans became targets for Hitler’s rhetoric because of the Great Depression). Sorry, reader, I’ve done it, slipped it in but I am truly worried by the parallels and hope against hope that I am wrong.

Seems like the Left doesn’t remember the following — During the ’08 Presidential campaign Obama said this:

“If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun,” Obama said in Philadelphia last night.

Probably forgot all about this, too: Death of a President (2006)

Or this one as examined by Michelle Malkin way back when:

In her new book, “Peace Mom,” Cindy Sheehan confesses on page 29 that she has imagined going back in time and killing the infant George W. Bush in order to prevent the Iraq War. It’s the moonbat version of pre-emption. Sheehan admits she has entertained this infanticidal fantasy “often.”

Maybe you missed this Zombietime image from the Anarchist Book Fair four years ago:

Anarchist Book Fair -- Zombietime

No, the few wingnuts on the Right aren’t alone — they have a LOT of company on the Left. In fact, while we of the center-right “Reload” to try and “Repeal” and “Replace” this latest powergrab on our economy by the Progressives via the massive Health Care LAW, we will put those errant congresscritters in our “electoral” sights and vote to kill their “political” careers. Not too svelte with phraseology there Okie, but the point should be crystal clear. Another image from Zombietime pretty much sums up this current administration and our pathetic Congress:

The LEFT will rise - Zombietime

The Left, it done be risen quite enough already . . . Oh, ya betcha! Time to cut ‘em down a notch, or maybe a whole lot o’ notches!

Can’t wait for November!

Santa Monica Sunday Morning — “Tales From The Dog Walk”

Sunday, March 28th, 2010

A brief moment from today’s AM dog walk. Sorry about the quality, 2-1/2 year-old-cell-phone video don’t ya know. The ocean was the color of Hawaii, deep crystalline blue, not our usual West coast greenish blue-gray. Not much chop, not much swell — single white fishing boat out stalking halibut . . . Had to unzip the ol’ jacket even.

It’s a beautiful day!

“Knowing” The Real Barack Obama

Saturday, March 27th, 2010

Spengler — David P. Goldman — tried to warn us:

I profiled Barack Obama on Feb. 26, 2008 in Asia Times Online. This essay caused more revulsion and anguish than all the rest of my “Spengler” writings put together. I stand by every word, and believe that subsequent events validate the analysis. Obama is a Third World anthropologist studying us who has cleverly infiltrated our culture. He is deeply and fiercely hostile to the American proposition.

Obama profiles Americans the way anthropologists interact with primitive peoples. He holds his own view in reserve and emphatically draws out the feelings of others; that is how friends and colleagues describe his modus operandi since his days at the Harvard Law Review, through his years as a community activist in Chicago, and in national politics. Anthropologists, though, proceed from resentment against the devouring culture of America and sympathy with the endangered cultures of the primitive world. Obama inverts the anthropological model: he applies the tools of cultural manipulation out of resentment against America. The probable next president of the United States is a mother’s revenge against the America she despised.

{…}

Barack Obama is a clever fellow who imbibed hatred of America with his mother’s milk, but worked his way up the elite ladder of education and career. He shares the resentment of Muslims against the encroachment of American culture, although not their religion. He has the empathetic skill set of an anthropologist who lives with his subjects, learns their language, and elicits their hopes and fears while remaining at emotional distance. That is, he is the political equivalent of a sociopath. The difference is that he is practicing not on a primitive tribe but on the population of the United States.

There is nothing mysterious about Obama’s methods. “A demagogue tries to sound as stupid as his audience so that they will think they are as clever as he is,” wrote Karl Krauss. Americans are the world’s biggest suckers, and laugh at this weakness in their popular culture. {…}

America has the great misfortune to have encountered Obama at the peak of his powers at its worst moment of vulnerability in a generation. With malice aforethought, he has sought out their sore point.

{…}

Be afraid – be very afraid. America is at a low point in its fortunes, and feeling sorry for itself. When Barack utters the word “hope”, they instead hear, “handout”. A cynic might translate the national motto, E pluribus unum, as “something for nothing”. Now that the stock market and the housing market have failed to give Americans something for nothing, they want something for nothing from the government. The trouble is that he who gets something for nothing will earn every penny of it, twice over.

As we like to say . . . Read it ALL!

Pelosi’s Victory Cackle — UP YOURS AMERICA!

Cackling Pelosi Victory Celebration

Gotta LUV these folks — they sure know how to party! I can’t say it any better than Ace:

That image just gets people where they live. It’s not an intellectual thing — it’s just an emotional reaction to someone who just f**ked you over and then cavorts joyously about it on television, dancing on your grave.

President Obama signed the bill today.

13 states immediately filed suit against it!

The attorneys general of 13 states immediately filed lawsuits against the pro-abortion health care bill President Barack Obama signed Tuesday morning. They include 12 Republicans and one Democrat, of Louisiana, and a Rasmussen poll finds Americans supportive of their actions.

Just seven minutes after Obama signed the measure into law, Florida Attorney General Bill McCollum took the lead and filed the suit for his colleagues in court in Florida.

“The Constitution nowhere authorizes the United States to mandate, either directly or under threat of penalty, that all citizens and legal residents have qualifying health care coverage,” the lawsuit says, according to an AP report.

McCollum, who is pro-life, is joined by attorneys general from South Carolina, Nebraska, Texas, Michigan, Utah, Pennsylvania, Alabama, South Dakota, Idaho, Washington, Colorado and Louisiana.

Some states are looking at other ways of getting out of participating in the pro-abortion health care bill as Virginia and Idaho have passed legislation to do that.

And, how about our super-classy Vice President, Joe Biden, tellin’ ol’ Barry at the signing ceremony, “This is a Big F*#cking Deal”.

Here’s the hit list for the upcoming election cycle.

In November we’ll be showing these jokers in the House what a real “‘Big F*#cking Deal” looks like!
