Just in case you’ve been wondering why this ol’ Okie has been so quiet lately, it’s not because I haven’t had anything to write about — I just haven’t had any time! Here’s why . . .

Launching today, November 17th, 2009, The Kitchen Cabinet PAC is the supporting website for the recently created Conservative Womens’ Political Action Committee of the same name.

Designed to help give a strong voice to women throughout the US and its territories, commonwealths and military facilities all over the globe, The Kitchen Cabinet PAC features educational articles, national contact information (The White House, Senate and House of Representatives) and will soon offer a user-supplied nationwide directory of political and service organizations.

Arthur Baker Design (Okie’s Santa Monica based design company) worked with the PAC’s creator Sonja Eddings Brown to provide a rich user experience for KC-PAC visitors. WordPress is used for the CMS. The donation element of the site is from Blue Swarm and was originally developed for Mitt Romney’s Presidential run and now powers the donation functions for a multitude of candidate-campaigns and charities.

There’s still lots to be done, and as my regular readers will probably guess, I’m beyond stoked to have been given the opportunity to work on this important website!

Hey, what are you doin’ gawkin’ around here? Go take a peek!
