I see you've been introduced to Aimless Cynic. I visited his blog (and it barely qualifies as one) a couple weeks ago to find him railing against the state of Oklahoma. After seeing the way you handed his ass to him, I think the poor emotionally wounded and intellectually bankrupt fool is bitter.

I've beaten this dimwitted goon so many times he now moderates his comments, due to being shell-shocked from the truth. What's truly frightening about Stooge Minnich is his fascination with homoerotica. I mean, it's ok to be into that stuff...be he seems fixated with it.

If you ever need a cure for insomnia visit Stooge Minnich's blog. He's even got a band of "merry" men who follow him (and who knows what, beyond that).

Cynic: Even a foreign pal sees it correctly:

"First, if a good speech and good intentions deserve a Nobel, we are still waiting for Mr. General El Kadhafi for his last speech to the UN or for Mr Abbas Abu Mazen that for peace with Israel has betrayed its people .. Mr Obama had done nothing, we consider the Nobel jury's decision as political and oriented." Excellent take for a non-American with a limited command of English.

Obama has the economy now, my liberal fool, and it is failing fast. Liberals in congress screwed us by requiring banks to loan money to people who could not possibly repay the loans. Idiots, all of the libtards who just don't get it. Tell me one thing that your illustrious leader has done for America? He has talked and promised but delivered nothing but higher taxes. He insulted my country overseas which is treason in my mind.

In the near future, Obama will undoubtedly be known the worst President we have ever had, worse than the previous worst, his apparent role model Jimmy Carter. In a few months you won't be able to find anyone who will admit having voted for Obama.

We will pray for you and hope that the disease of liberalism is soon purged from your mind and body. May your sanity be fully restored. For now, please take your medications before you post here.

Like Dale, these are my last words to be written here on this subject.

The last thing I"ll have to say about this in this thread is: I think that President Obama should accept the award, and as has been suggested by several sources on the middle-right, either give a speech of acceptance on behalf of the American military -- the world's peacekeeper extraordinaire -- or send a veteran over there to accept on behalf of same. They deserve it, the President does not.

It's never been more true -- The only reason the world's peoples are even as remotely safe s they are is because the men and women of our Army, Navy, Air Force, National Guard and Marines are willing to go out there and do the dirty work of committing violence on their behalf.

'Nuff said!

Barack Hussein Obama is THE worst thing EVER to happen to America. God help us through the next three years of this blithering idiot Obama.
No, George Bush was the worst thing that ever happened to America. Please notice the state of the economy right now. You can point directly at Bush and his continued efforts at deregulation for that.

Obviously you didn't click through the link I gave there, Speck, so let me see if I can help you out.

In recent years the Nobel Peace Prize has more often honored promise and encouraged progress than it marked concrete, permanent achievements in the realm of world peace. So the prize went to President Carter's ultimately unsuccessful 1978 Middle East peace drive; and to the same still uncompleted effort by Yassir Arafat and Yitzhak Rabin in 1994. In 1991, Aung San Suu Kyi won the prize in her jail cell, but the point was to support democracy in Burma (and 18 years later, she is still under house arrest).Thinking about the Northern Ireland Catholic and Protestant "Peace Mothers" who won the award in 1976, years before real peace accords, I suddenly saw Obama's win as strangely humble, and personal: One man trying to reverse the bloody tide of recent American history.

Obama's prize is a measure of how far the Bush administration pushed the United States, and the world, away from peace. So far away that Obama's small but fervent efforts in the opposite direction -- new diplomacy on Israel, Palestine, Iran, Russia and North Korea; slow but steady withdrawal from Iraq and now a painful reappraisal of the increasingly bloody war in Afghanistan; a pledge to eliminate nuclear weapons; new initiatives to the Muslim world -- could win him this prize. ..

The right-wing's idiocy about Obama's Nobel win is no longer even interesting. So Rush Limbaugh sides with the Taliban now. Good. Both Glenn Beck and Mark Halperin suggested Obama should decline the award; now we know where Halperin stands, that's good too. The country will move on without them. I loved what French President Nicholas Sarkozy (not always an Obama fan) said about why the U.S. president really got the Nobel Peace Prize: "The award marks America's return to the heart of the people of the world." That deserves a prize.
You really need to pay attention there, Speck. It's a big world out there, and more going on than Fox News is telling you.

Looks like you found a liberal clown to play with, Dale.
Speaking of liberal clowns, Obama is a liberal clown, but Ronald McDonald deserves the Nobel Peace Prize more than Obama. What has Obama done? He has read text from a teleprompter. That merits a Nobel Prize? Bullbutter.

And meanwhile, you're stil siding with the terrorists. How strange.

Oh, by the way, see if this helps any to get your mind right.

By the way, what do you mean, the hate is coming from me? I've got nothing but love for the whole world. (It's just some of the people in it who tend to be morons...)

But you're right. Bush was an "imperfect president" - if by "imperfect," you mean idiotic, irresponsible, and completely incapable. (No "hate," though - he was just one of those morons I mentioned.)

Hey Bill --

"W" was my boy! An imperfect president if there ever was one, but seeing how goofy-insane good ol' Al (Global Warming Is Gonna Kill Us ALL) Gore has become, IMHNO we sure dodged a bullet in '00! Thanks, SCOTUS!

The only hate I see here is coming from you . . . however, I absolutely must thank you for your service to this great country and I do respect your opinion and your right to express same. I don't have much respect for Obama though, although I was more than willing to give him the benefit of the doubt early on.

Ever since November’s election I’ve been filled with a need to wait-and-see what our Pres-elect is going to do. Many — no, make that most — of the big sites were compelled to immediately attack Obama, like that is going to do anything constructive. Now, don’t get the ol’ Okie wrong, I’m extremely disappointed that our side didn’t win. But folks, we got ourselves an ol’ fashion’d ass-whuppin’ at the polls and there’s repercussions from things like that. Besides, after examining the Pres-elect’s picks so far, can you pick that apart much more that you would have a Pres-elect McCain’s attempts to “reach across the isle” and create a bi-partisan government — which he most surely would have done, look at his record. Sarah Palin would have squawked and been sent on a Siberian-delegation tour until summer.

Maybe Obama will grow into his Presidency -- sane folks can only hope so. However, while the children play in the Democrat-controlled Congress, don't begrudge our side for trying to ride the pendulum to at least a majority in one of the houses in 2010.

To save himself, all the President has to do is to stop the endless campaigning and begin governing -- as long as he doesn't throw the Center under the bus along with the Right.

hope Soros is payin’ ya lots!
Yeah, I wish. You guys sure credit Soros with every fucking thing, don't you? Pretty sure he has better things to do with his money than deal with bloggers.

even in spendthrift George W. Bush’s wildest dreams he couldn’t have leveraged this country as much as Obama has done in 8-1/2 months
Crap. You are either lying, slept through the last 8 years, or you are the third most ill-informed person on this planet.

Bush borrowed more from other countries than all the previous presidents combined. Because of his inability to balance a checkbook, Japan and China added together control 47% of US foreign debt. If they decide to call in their marker, we're toast.

or put us in so much potential peril from our enemies
I'll assume that you mean those guys you're busy agreeing with, like the Taliban and al Qaeda? Because the other countries seem to feel that we're worth talking to again. Weird how that "diplomacy" thing can be effective sometimes, isn't it?

I cheered when the Olympic committee handed our narcissist-in-chief his head in Copenhagen
Yeah, don't want those jobs going to Americans, when all that sweet Olympic cash could be going to more deserving countries, huh? Because you'd rather see Americans unemployed and starving? Sounds like you'd rather see the country fail than Obama succeed. Are you really that petty?

I repeat - why do you hate America?

And incidentally, "handed him his head"? How's that? Obama was there along with King Carlos of Spain and Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama of Japan. They were also passed over in favor of Rio. So I guess that they're shamed, too?

I'll assume, oh paragon of knowledge, that you know that the US has hosted the Olympics 8 times? More often than any country except Greece? (And that assumes that you're going back to the Bronze Age and counting those Olympic games.) No South American country has ever hung the five rings in one of their cities. Maybe they felt that they should correct that iniquity.

("Hmm... go to the place where topless supermodels invented the bikini wax, or go to the place where sweaty men invented the stuffed-crust pizza? Which one do you think we should choose, Fritz?")

You have a lot of hate in you, Artie. Shame you don't have the information to match it.

hope Soros is payin’ ya lots!
Yeah, I wish. You guys sure credit Soros with every fucking thing, don’t you? Pretty sure he has better things to do with his money than deal with bloggers.

even in spendthrift George W. Bush’s wildest dreams he couldn’t have leveraged this country as much as Obama has done in 8-1/2 months
Crap. You are either lying, slept through the last 8 years, or you are the third most ill-informed person on this planet.

Bush borrowed more from other countries than all the previous presidents combined. Because of his inability to balance a checkbook, Japan and China added together control 47% of US foreign debt. If they decide to call in their marker, we’re toast.

or put us in so much potential peril from our enemies
I’ll assume that you mean those guys you’re busy agreeing with, like the Taliban and al Qaeda? Because the other countries seem to feel that we’re worth talking to again. Weird how that “diplomacy” thing can be effective sometimes, isn’t it?

I cheered when the Olympic committee handed our narcissist-in-chief his head in Copenhagen
Yeah, don’t want those jobs going to Americans, when all that sweet Olympic cash could be going to more deserving countries, huh? Because you’d rather see Americans unemployed and starving? Sounds like you’d rather see the country fail than Obama succeed. Are you really that petty?

You don't read very carefully -- probably have a lot of blogs to try and correct today -- hope Soros is payin' ya lots! ;-)

I love America, I just don't like this president all that much. Call me silly, but even in spendthrift George W. Bush's wildest dreams he couldn't have leveraged this country as much as Obama has done in 8-1/2 months -- with little to nothing to show for it -- or put us in so much potential peril from our enemies. Besides, he actually seems to listen to Joe Biden which is terrifying!

Yeah, I cheered when the Olympic committee handed our narcissist-in-chief his head in Copenhagen -- the Daley machine needed all that Olympic monies to steal like I need another melanoma to deal with. The display of personal narrative that Michelle and Barack laid on them was embarrassing. You guys need to think more, feel less.

I don't quote Taliban leaders -- anyone that treats women the way they do are scum and need to be eradicated from the face of the earth!

Peace with the Taliban? Fuck them!

Now, that's strong words . . .

Wow. Tough words. Sounds a lot like this guy.

"We have seen no change in his strategy for peace. He has done nothing for peace in Afghanistan… We condemn the award of the Noble Peace Prize for Obama. We condemn the institute's awarding him the peace prize. We condemn this year's peace prize as unjust." (Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid)

I mean, that’s awesome. Gotta side with Wayne on this one. First you cheer when America lost the Olympics, now you’re palling around with terrorists. Why do you hate America?

Maybe you should reassess your priorities.

Wayne --

You're a freakin' idiot!

The Nobel Peace Prize is now worthless, devoid of meaning!

Right-wingers are reacting to this because it's hilarious, in a tragic sort of way. BTW -- we love America a lot more than we dislike Obama. Hatred is a staple of the Left, as in the hatred of BushCo, which you exhibit in your comment.

Obama was nominated two-weeks into his term -- TWO WEEKS! He hadn't even decided upon the first dog by that time. ;-)

Anyone with a brain and an open mind can go back and look at Bush v. Gore and see that the Florida Supreme Court had overstepped its bounds and had to be reined in by the SCOTUS. Regardless, all of the final counts showed that Bush actually WON Florida, despite the early call by the MSM to keep West Floridians away from the polls.

Gotta luv the trolls!

The criticism coming from right wing republicans is a clear reflection of how badly they want Obama to fail! They hate Obama more than they love America. They can't bear to see him, or America under his Presidency, succeed in any way, which says a lot for their patriotism and perhaps in some cases even racism. There is no doubt that Obama deserves this honor even if it is in small part due to the huge relief that the whole world felt after Americans finally came to their senses and overwhelmingly voted for a sensible and pragmatic person like Obama to succeed the most hated warmongering President and Vice President in the history of America, who as you recall, were originally appointed (not elected) to the White House by the Supreme Court who overturned the wishes of the majority of Americans who voted for Gore.
