Many — no, make that most — of the big sites were compelled to immediately attack Obama, like that is going to do anything constructive. Now, don’t get the ol’ Okie wrong, I’m extremely disappointed that our side didn’t win. But folks, we got ourselves an ol’ fashion’d ass-whuppin’ at the polls and there’s repercussions from things like that. Besides, after examining the Pres-elect’s picks so far, can you pick that apart much more that you would have a Pres-elect McCain’s attempts to “reach across the isle” and create a bi-partisan government — which he most surely would have done, look at his record. Sarah Palin would have squawked and been sent on a Siberian-delegation tour until summer.

Maybe Obama will grow into his Presidency — sane folks can only hope so. However, while the children play in the Democrat-controlled Congress, don’t begrudge our side for trying to ride the pendulum to at least a majority in one of the houses in 2010.

To save himself, all the President has to do is to stop the endless campaigning and begin governing — as long as he doesn’t throw the Center under the bus along with the Right.

Obama was nominated two-weeks into his term — TWO WEEKS! He hadn’t even decided upon the first dog by that time.

Anyone with a brain and an open mind can go back and look at Bush v. Gore and see that the Florida Supreme Court had overstepped its bounds and had to be reined in by the SCOTUS. Regardless, all of the final counts showed that Bush actually WON Florida, despite the early call by the MSM to keep West Floridians away from the polls.
