WaPo Says Obama Passes First Security Test? What About Tests 2 — 6? Not So Much!

Yesterday the Washington Post ran a story [registration required] saying that our Prez passed his first security exam — ya know, when he didn’t stop three amazing Navy Seal snipers from doin’ their duty and wipin’ out some pirate scumbags with extreme prejudice. The Mil-bloggers at This Ain’t Hell disagree with the WaPo, and give The Mighty ‘O’ failing marks for:
- Undeterred Somali pirates hijacking three more ships today!
- Pakistans’ new Swat Valley Taliban kill-free zone with Sharia for everyone!
- Taliban & Al Qaeda training bases setting up in Swat, threatening the Pakistan military!
- A totally lame-ass response to the No. Korea missile launch gets Kin Jong Il’s juices flowin’!
- Dropping US to Cuba funding restrictions which will bag the Castro brothers some extra filty-American lucre!
The MSM seems to not care less. Addressing that, author John Lilyea comments:
I’m glad that Captain Phillips is free, I’m glad Obama didn’t screw that up – but all the rest of this crap should scare the media to death – and they should say so instead of looking for nothing but positives.
YUP — in Obamaland — it’s passing grades for everybody from the MSM — as long as everybody is Barack Obama. Maybe, just maybe, we got us some media bias happenin’ here? Hmmm, just maybe . . .
Like, it ever stopped happenin’ after the election.
At least the Onion knows which side of the bagel gets the cream cheese!
“What exactly is the news hook here?” asked Rick Kaplan, executive producer of the CBS Evening News. “Is this an upbeat human-interest story about a ‘day in the life’ of a bloodthirsty president who likes to kill people? Or is it more of an examination of how Obama’s unusual upbringing in Hawaii helped to shape the way he would one day viciously butcher two helpless citizens in their own home?”
