National Wildlife Federation Promotes Global Warming Alarmists’ Bullshit!

The wife likes pillows and comforters with dolphins and such on them so every once in a while we order something from the National Wildlife Federation online store. That subjects us to horseshit emails like this one that just hit the ol’ inbox:

Dear Friend of Wildlife,

This is our last chance.

After decades of procrastination, the climate crisis has reached the final
moment of truth.
The time to act is NOW.

Already, we’re seeing glimpses of a grim future if we do nothing:

* Polar bears are drowning in Alaska, unable to swim the increasing distance between sea ice and land. Their cubs are malnourished or worse, starving to death as food sources become scarce and the hunting season shorter.
* Migrating caribou calves are being swept to their death trying to cross rivers that should be frozen over.
* The mighty orca can’t survive in warming waters. This year in the Puget Sound, seven orcas were presumed dead as their primary food source, salmon, can’t survive warming waters.

This is our last chance. We either act now or fail not only ourselves, but future generations.

As part of the “Repower America“ movement, NWF is joining with other dedicated organizations around the country to spur action. We want to create green jobs, green education and a green economy. These actions will help make a difference for America’s wildlife, and America’s future.

National Wildlife Federation knows what must be done. At most, we have two years to sign into law a bold climate legislation and inspire Americans to rapidly transform to a clean-energy economy. We must be ever vigilant to make sure our congressional leaders understand the importance of addressing climate change.

As renowned climate scientist James Hansen recently said, this is our “last chance” to turn things around. Our last chance to leave future generations a world with polar bears, orca whales and other magnificent wildlife.

Please donate today, to help make a difference for America’s wildlife, and America’s future. This is our time to make a difference. Our children will be glad we did.

Thanks for caring.

Sincerely,

Larry Schweiger
President & CEO

Hey Larry — here’s a clue — I don’t . . . and your’re full of it!

If all these animals are in such great peril, and if they are dying off in droves due to current conditions, your statement “At most, we have two years to sign into law a bold climate legislation and inspire Americans to rapidly transform to a clean-energy economy” makes absolutely no sense at all — none, Nada, ZERO!

Of course, to the nutter animal-lovin’ Global Warming Hysterics that your email is designed to fleece a bit more of their hard-earned dinero away from, logic went out the window a loooooong time ago.

Maybe gettin’ those dolphin pillow shams from NWA wasn’t such a good idea after all. Next time I’ll be getin’ ‘em on Ebay! ;-)

I guess the clowns at the N.W.F. haven’t heard of the five ton ice sculpture of Al Gore created by an artist in Fairbanks. Alaska is actually having record LOW temperatures this year. How I wish they had a 24/7 webcam on that ice sculpture……
