Hey folks, I’m out here in the land of the lost angels, wallowing in a bit o’ self pity over our loss on Tuesday. Well, not really, but I sure am tryin’ to detox after getting so wound up in election mania these last few weeks. I’m also actually doing some payin’ work — which is a good thing — and the Misses and I are attending to a few health issues. Not to fear, the ol’ Okie will be back in fine-as-frog’s-hair form in no time, no time at all. Until then, here’s some good stuff to check out.
My buddy Laer at Cheat-Seeking Missiles has a new section up that replaces his Media Bias 2008 — Obama Drama – Nail-Biters From The Obama Swamp. Funny, he’s already found five Obama Dramas to write about, and the election is only 4 days old!
The crew at Ace of Spades H.Q. are keeping on top of the former McCain staffer’s smearing of Sarah Palin. They’re making lists and naming names!
Michelle Malkin points to Obama’s gaffe yesterday where he mixes up Nancy Reagan and Hillary. I don’t think that either of them would be amused.
Over at Patterico’s they are exploring Obama’s decency, Chris Matthew’s continuing leg tingles and the Washington Post’s admission that it was definitely in the tank for The One. However, the WaPo editors ain’t gonna do anything about that in the future — like we thought they would? Go figure.
And finally, The Anchoress isn’t feeling up to snuff. Send a few prayers her way — she’d do the same for you!
BTW — we got us a new little pooch on Aug. 8th. Missy. Had to make sure that she’d stick around — crazy little Schnoodle from the West LA shelter. She’s my buddy and a half but she needs a lot of energy drain — I’ve lost over 10 pounds already tryin’ to keep up! Cool!
