Oliver Stone’s “W” A Bust & Nobody Cares

The wife and I were sitting in a restaurant for Sat. lunch and two barking-mad Lefty nutters were in the next booth. Along with pinning the financial crisis on an International conspiracy on the right and BushCo, of course, and with calling Sarah Palin an a_hole for “hating” whales, ala that morning’s LA Times article on the Beluga whale being added to the endangered species list, these two specimens of higher-enlightenment had decided NOT to see Oliver Stone’s “W” — because they had read that it was too sympathetic to Bush, and that it made his father look like a good guy.

It wasn’t hateful enough for them to pay to see.

I told the wife that Stone had finally made a movie that no one will see.

  • The Right will think it’s a slam on Bush,
  • the Left will think it isn’t enough of a slam
  • & the Independents won’t care.

Looks like the box office is backing up that evaluation.

Heh!

  1. I would say that the timing of this movie coming out just now is another attempt by the Democrats to tie McCain to the deeds of ‘W”. Is this the best October surprise they can muster?

  2. Bush: No Gov’t Takeovers Via Bailout

President Bush says the United States’ “serious financial crisis” has moved beyond Wall Street. But

  3. What a joke, “W” has been the biggest financial bust in recent memory.

Now, if Oliver Stone makes a movie in three years or so showing how Obama tried to turn the USA into a marxist country but was impeached by none other than conservative Democrats before he could finalize the plan.

That movie would gross $700 million beating “Titantic’s” domestic record.

A good movie title could be: “The Fall Of Obama’s Socialism”
