I see how well Liberalism works all the time in our Santa Monica alley, with the homeless scrounging through the garbage bins for food, discarded chotkies and identity-theft discoveries.

Here in the Peoples’ Republic, there’s tons of compassion and mountains of tolerance, and not a lick of common sense.

I’m a liberal and I thought the ‘accusing him is racist’ stuff was out of line, personally. If it’s okay to take shots at McCain for being old and confused without that being inappropriately ageist, surely the HIGHLY vague connection between ‘not like us’ and ‘black’ isn’t beyond the pale. However, the rest of what you’re saying is, imo, hysterical nonsense.

Your ‘evidence’ shows that there is a vague connection between them and that they moved in the same circles. This is already known. Your evidence also shows that they both support some shared principles. This is already known.

Your evidence does not show that Obama in any way supported the guy’s OTHER principles, or that he was close friends with him.

Going after Rev. Wright is a far more logical line of attack, since in that case there’s much more likelihood that Obama was directly confronted with the guy’s crazy beliefs and said nothing. That’s questionable. He has apologised for it, but it’s questionable.

The utter vagueness of the Ayers connection, even with all your ‘evidence’, is so tenuous that there’s still nothing to apologise for. There’s just nothing there.
