		<description>The one thing I have to say against Palin is that she rather clumsily dodged the questions a few times--when she explicitly said &quot;I won&#039;t answer that but let me go back to why I&#039;m qualified on energy.&quot; She was great on the questions she answered, and the things she said, but what worries me is the topics she was completely unwilling to address. If her position is that she&#039;ll be a great maverick adviser willing to speak up to John McCain on any issue, she needs to first prove to me that she won&#039;t run away from any questions with the American people.

Biden did go off on his own tangent a lot, but he usually started off on topic, and I have to admit, he earned my grudging respect for being willing to buck the lefty position on gay marriage when asked, instead of trying go around it.</description>
