LA Times Slams Sarah Palin — Again, and Again, and Again
The Democratic talking heads are saying that the Sarah Palin phenomena is over, that the Palin bounce for McCain has evaporated, that women have taken a look at her and decided that indeed, she’s not one of them after all. Wow! You sure couldn’t glean any of that from reading today’s LA Times, as they have at least three hit pieces on Palin. First and formost, their front page roundhouse punch is dissected by one of the LAT’s least favorite bloggers.
At Patterico.com in a post from one of Patrick’s continuing series of how the media buries facts and info that they really, really don’t want you to know, but are obligated to tell anyway, he makes this accusation:
So, media types, keep pushing the line that you’re doing a fair job. Keep telling us you’re not out to do a hatchet job on Sarah Palin.
It’s just another lie you’re telling us.
Why does John McCain have it harder in this election? Simple.
Barack Obama has only to fight John McCain.
John McCain has to fight Barack Obama and a wholly deceptive media that is in Barack Obama’s pocket.
This in response to today’s LAT front page slam of Sarah Palin titled Palin says yes to a road from nowhere — which I started reading but didn’t finish. I’m sure that Patrick did, because waaaaaaaay back on page A23 in the next to last of 33 paragraphs the LA Times writer Erika Hayasaki finally fesses up that maybe it’s a bridge to somewhere after all; That somewhere being to a new ferry service, or perhaps to some lesser cost bridges.
Just so that we know, Todd Palin is refusing to testify in the partisan probe of his wife’s decision to fire the state’s public safety commissioner. She was going to cooperate before it turned into a political circus, timed to deliver Democrat favoring results a couple of days before the election. You might really hate her hair style, but you gotta admit that the gal sure ain’t stupid!
Also, they want you to know that Chuck Hagel is no fan of Sarah Palin.
“I think it’s a stretch to — in any way — say that she’s got the experience to be president of the United States,” Hagel told the Omaha World-Herald. “She doesn’t have any foreign policy credentials.
It’s almost schizophrenic for pols, pundits and news organization to deliver scathing criticisms of Palin not being ready on day one to be the Pres, as she is only the number two on the GOP ticket. Do we really need to keep reminding everyone that the Dem’s number one on their ticket, Barack Obama has a lot less experience than Sarah Palin? I guess we do.
Thanks Los Angeles Times — you always deliver a consistent product, day after day.
That is, day after day you regurgitate biased, Leftist opinions instead of news.
