“Gee Barry, I’d never noticed before . . .”

There’s a meme going around today sparked by Kansan Governor Kathleen Sebelius (D) uttering this statement:

“Have any of you noticed that Barack Obama is part African-American?” Sebelius asked in response to a question about why the election is so close. “That may be a factor. All the code language, all that doesn’t show up in the polls. And that may be a factor for some people.”

The some people she is referring to is the roughly 1/2 of Americans that support John McCain. She’s intimating that 1/2 of us are so blindly racist that we won’t possibly consider voting for a black man or woman. The Anchoress takes on Sebelius and those Leftists that project their own latent racism on the rest of us.

Okay. Is everyone clear that Barack Obama is half-black? That he is the son of a Kenyan man and a caucasian American woman? Geez, I think everyone knows this. Heaven knows, Obama has talked about it enough himself, what with carrying on about how he doesn’t look like those guys on the dollar bills, etc. Who the hell cares? When the race card has been played in this election, it’s been played from the left, because the left is fixated on race. And when you’re fixated, you project your fixation on to everyone else. And when you project it onto people you hate, you’ll project it in the most hateful way.

So, just in case anyone is as yet unaware, let’s get the BIG FLASHING BLUE LIGHT hauled out and say it, once and for all, so that Gov. Sebelius can stop worrying about big-fat-racist codes and get back to doing what Governors do which, as you know, is crucifying community organizers.

ATTENTION K-MART SHOPPERS (that is, I hear, “code” for “ignorant un-nuanced hillbillies who are not as good as coastal elites”) BARACK OBAMA IS NOT ALL CAUCASIAN! REPEAT: HE IS NOT ALL CAUCASIAN!

SHOPPERS, EVERYONE THINKS THIS ELECTION IS ABOUT THINGS LIKE THE ECONOMY AND THE WAR AND ETHICAL GOVERNANCE AND BI-PARTISANSHIP AND STUFF LIKE THAT, BUT REALLY, IT’S ALL ABOUT THE COLOR OF BARACK OBAMA’S SKIN AND SARAH PALIN’S TANNING BED, AND NOTHING ELSE.

Don’t miss one tasty morsel of that rant or you’ll be sorry! Michelle Malkin might have beat her to the punch today by a millisecond or two, but I know for a fact, lucky me, that our Anchoress had this well fleshed out last night. I’ve got an exclusive. Over the past 20 months, you may not have figured this out yet:

Barack Obama is…

…half-black.

He’s different.

He’s got a funny name.

He doesn’t look like other presidents we’ve had.

And from now until Election Day, if you haven’t figured it out yet — and whether or not you give a damn — Obama’s Democrat operatives will keep regurgitating this vital information while accusing conservative of obsessing about it.

Because the race card is all they have left in their deck.

Meanwhile, the radicals on the Left have hacked Sarah Palin’s private Yahoo email account and are splashing her emails and family pics all over the Internet. Those that worry so terribly much about the right to privacy when it comes to abortion and who they shag up the wazzoo feel no regret whatsoever about invading the privacy of Alaska’s Governor — because after all, she has an “R” after her name.

The MSM continues to ignore Barack Obama’s attempt to convince the Iraqis to agree to delay any more US troop withdrawals until he, The Chosen One, takes office in January so that he, The Chosen One, can lead our poor, distressed troops out of the Iraqi dessert. Maybe Barry watched those McCain Moses ads so much that he started identifying with Charlton Heston — maybe he really, really likes Chuck’s robes?

Maureen Dowd is hyperventilating over her distaste for the people of Wasilla. She, Sarah Palin, is not like US (the elites) — she shops at Walmart, she hunts and KILLS things, and then — holy shit! — she eats them!

Oh yeah, BTW — did you know that Obama is half black?
