I also have a blog page on the Obama campaign website. I signed up for it several months ago but have put very little effort into it, choosing to support the campaign in other ways. My point is that I or Mark Bickman or anyone else can sign up for such a blog and then have the freedom to express ourselves - either accurately or inaccurately.

There is no evidence to support the notion that Mr. Bickman was put up to this by the other side, but I wouldn't be surprised that when all the facts are known this will turn out to be the case.

In any event, the damage is done. Truth will out!

A flood of anti-Palin smears from the left

John McCain's selection of Sarah Palin for VP candidate has led to an avalanche of terrible, but probably unsurprising, smears and other forms of vile reactions, against her. For example, US Weekly published one of the most disgusting attacks on Pali...

I hate the way they not only lie, but present a false concept in the first place: HAVING A BOOK REMOVED FROM A LIBRARY IS NOT BANNING THE BOOK.

To BAN the book, one would have to make it illegal to PUBLISH or OWN the book in one's jurisdiction.

Why the hyperbole?

Never mind. I know.
