Chris Muir's Day by Day cartoon
Day by Day Cartoon — by Chris Muir

Lars Vilks, Swedish cartoonist, has a big bounty on his head for drawing the head of Mohammed on the body of a dog. Muir ups the ante, and we’re here to help.

Kinda reminds me of Ned Beaty in Deliverance just a bit:

“You sure do have a purty mouth!”

Think about it . . .

Good cartoon and too true. Too bad ‘they’ won’t get it because ‘they’ have no sense of humor.

What a drag it must be to go through life without laughing at oneself and being tied, under threat of death, to a humorless non-existent god.

i happen to be muslim and i find it offensive!!!! my religion has a great respect for all our prophets and to even imagine the last messengers face on an animal is disgusting!! theres no sense of humor about it!! treat our religion with some respect! i cant speak for all muslims and this is not hate mail but i find it offensive and if this is what happens in other religions well i cant speak for them but it should be just as offensive! god is not reckoned with humor! sarcasm about religion is not funny.

Mel — gotta luv your email handle, “venemous_angel”! Very “peaceful” sounding.

Anyway, I think that God must have the best sense of humor, because he gave us one — at least he gave those living in the Western world one — doesn’t sound like you and yours have any at all.

I laughed my hind end off watching the Marty Feldman movie, “In God We Trust”, but I must confess I did feel a bit guilty afterwards — it was funny, and very sarcastic.

    >>Struck the last statement — was a bit harsh actually — out of character. Sorry ’bout that.<<
