LA Times Ignores Story Of Gunman Killing Self After Shooting Airman
On July 4th, an airman from McGuire Air Force Base was gunned down in front of his home by 22 yr-old Matthew J. Marren, who then fatally shot himself. All we got on this story via the LA Times was . . . . . . . . . bupkis!
Senior Airman Jonathan Schrieken is recovering but still in bad shape. Michelle Malkin has the wrap-up, as usual, along with this Patrick Poole observation:
If Airman Schrieken had been an abortionist or homosexual, this story would be front page news for the New York Times and the lead story on CBS News with Katie Couric for at least the next month. But since Schrieken is serving in the military, even his hometown newspaper, the Columbus Dispatch, has ignored this story.
As did, of course, the Los Angeles Times.
