Dem Debate No. 1 — Anybody Care?
I didn’t watch the Democrat debate last night — I mean come on, the Lakers actually won a playoff game against Phoenix, who could trade that for the screeching of Hillary or the blathering of Edwards, or worse, the treasonous whining of a Dennis Kucinich? Not me, that’s for sure. I was not alone, Dean Barnett didn’t watch either, but after looking at the news reports it looks like we might want to be real careful about who gets to call 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. home for 4-8 years.
In other words, President Obama’s initial reaction to a national catastrophe several folds worse than 9/11 would be to look back to Katrina and BLAME BUSH™. After finishing that, he would look back to the run-up to the Iraq war and again, BLAME BUSH™. Only once all the Bush Blaming was done would President Obama “potentially take some action.” Potentially take some action? Gosh, that’s pretty strong stuff! I’m sure those harsh words made Jihadists around the world shudder.
What is he referring to? Well, evidently Obama had a Dukakis moment and couldn’t quite mouth the words that if two American cities were destroyed by terrorists that he would hunt them down and kick their asses. Democrats — the we-love-the-world there’s-no-such-thing-as-evil party.
The party of Rosie doesn’t do much for me. If two American cities are ever destroyed by terrorist attacks — some big-time-nasty payback better be on the agenda right here, right now!
