Happy Birthday, Son!
Twenty-five years ago today I was watching my son being born. It was a magical day — in fact, the only event that has come close to that type of moment was the day that we stood at the bedside of my wife’s father as he left this world. A beginning, and an ending — the very mysteries of life itself.
Check out that pic at the bottom right — he and I were stylin’ at Will Rogers State Beach. Don’t think that wetsuit fits him anymore — mine either!
Happy birthday, James — Hope it’s gonna be a great one!
