I'm glad you have discovered Dr. Lindzen. He is probably the world's leading authority on the global warming issue. I have been writing on the subject a lot lately, some as a scientist, some in laymens terms. I cite Richard Lindzen's papers and comments frequently. I last exchanged emails with him last week and he sent me a copy of some powerful and brand new, yet-to-be-published anti-global warming work that he has written. There are few in Richard's class when it comes to the man-made global warming scam. Still, there are plenty of other highly regarded scientists who agree that it's bunk. I have another name for it, but I've heard that most of the bulls in Oklahoma are tired of me insulting them with my comparison of them to the global warming "crisis"

Global warming is about carbon taxes and the larceny of OUR money.

Let me pass along a couple of analogies I dreamed up last week:

1. The CO2 increase that we have observed in the atmosphere (100 parts-per-miilion) in the past 150 years is 1/50 of the amount that is in your can of cola.

2. If a person was holding 10,000 - $100 bills (a cool million bucks)and handed you one, that $100 bill represents the amount of CO2 increase in our atmosphere in the past 150 years versus the entire atmosphere, 100 parts per million.

I have been in some intense debates about global warming on several message boards on the internet.

I appreciate the opportunity here on the Okie blog to freely express my skeptical position on anthropogenic global warming without the usual ad hominem attacks from the fanatical believers. Greenie rule #1 is
"If you can't attack the science, attack the scientist"

If anyone that believes in "global warming" and also believes that humans are the cause, there is one simple solution that would halt the so-called global warming in its tracks: STOP REPRODUCING. The less of a global population we have, the lesser CO2 emissions in generations to come. Got it? So stop breeding yourselves - it would solve many problems, and most importantly keep the "sky is falling" crowd from passing on their annoying ideology to their children which the Earth does not need....
