Happy Blessed Easter

Christ is risen

Now, more than ever before, the faithful need to be washed in the Blood of the Lamb. The secularists have given their souls to science, and now fear that the very Earth that we all live on will annihilate them via global warming. The Islamists see their god as severely strident and ultimately vengeful — incompatible with the modern world. The atheists hate and fear all of the various faiths as forces raining on their selfish-hedonistic parade.

Jesus Christ, the son of God and man, made the ultimate sacrifice that we all might live in eternal glory. That’s pretty mystic, I’ll certainly admit. But, my faith tells me that it is also true.

Christ the Lord is risen, and lives in the heart of this humbled, ol’ Okie — Hallelujah . . . Amen.

Maybe your anti-Gore (and possibly your related anti-Clinton) stance has something to do with Bush’s LOW approval ratings vs. those of the former administration (that remain in the 60%-65% approval range). But who knows?

I can’t wait to read your future commenbts on Bush’s successful troop surge. Yet ANOTHER war lost. Like father, NOT like son, huh, Okie????

But also, I must give you credit here for posting the picture of Bush helping Byrd. We need more pictures like that showing compassion for others despite which side of the aisle one sits on in Congress. However, don’t let Ann Coulter see that picture–she may end up calling Bush a f*gg*t!

    Liberal Larry –

Of all the posts that you make reference to in your angry screed about my opinions, it is telling that you chose this one in which to vent your obviously-hate-filled spleen.

I can’t wait for you to read my future posts either — you might even learn something.

Golly gee wiz, I gosh darn done touched a backwoods nerve, huh, Okie?

  • ‘Okie’

Just showed your true colors, Larry. That’s all. Bless you . . .

Hey, I can’t help it if if I am an arrogant, elitist, pain in the you know wehat. That’s who I am, amongst many other things. Just like you can’t help being a right wing reactionist hillbilly who, deep down, can’t accept the fact that the current presidential administration has destroyed our worldwide reputation for generations to come, amongst many other things.

Keep us the good work on this blog. Enjoyable reading–for ALL of us.

My main gripe with the current administration is the absolutely abysmal efforts they have made to communicate with the American people on their whys and wherefores, especially regarding the urgency to prosecute the war against radical Islam.

What the world thinks of us is irrelevant, except to the liberal elite, which for some reason has always cared more about, say, the French’s opinion than their own countrymen’s on just about everything. The more liberal arts education you have, the worse off you are on this. Me, after over a decade hiding out in academia, with an MA to show for a part of it — it has taken a long time to flush away the leftist BS that even at a private university in Tulsa you were indoctrinated with — and I don’t mean ORU either.

But, I’m glad that you drop in from time to time, Larry. And my paternal grandmother was a hillbilly from Kentucky, but that’s another story all on its own. I just grew up on a “gentleman’s farm”, meaning my dad farmed and raised cattle for pleasure while supporting his hobby and all of us with his pharmacy.

Now, if only Bush would strap on the BIG ONE and go stick it to Iran, I could rest a bit easier at night. So, tonight I think I’ll fire up the grill and light a big-fat Cohiba, pump some extra CO2 into the atmosphere, blow some dynamite smoke rings and celebrate the fact that I’m no longer “an arrogant, elitist, pain in the you know wehat(sic)”. It’s much more fun, and I’m a lot happier as “a right wing reactionist(sic) hillbilly”. Uh . . . yeah, that’s a big Yee Haw to you and yours!

    Toodles.

Though I don’t usually agree with you, I must say that I like the way you write, and I respect your ability to recognize obvious baiting. I am going to look you up the next time I visit L.A. Will let you know when I schedule my next visit there. Would appreciate an intelligent debate despite your political leanings. Lord knows we have so few informed people these days!
