Here’s a Cool Cooking Blog
After spending 45 minutes getting a boneless pork shoulder braising in the oven (I know, I know — bone-in would be better, but . . .) all powered up with onions, sweet onions, 20-30 cloves of garlic, celery, parsnips & carrots sautéed with the fond from browning the shoulder plus a cap full of hickory smoke and then all dusted down with my special outdoor pork rub, I decided to go on the Net and look for a recipe for some high-rise Cajun biscuits. I haven’t run across those as yet, but I did stumble across a really cool cooking blog — MeatHenge.
From the last post about pork chops simmered in milk (cool!) to crusty mac & cheese I think this ol’ Okie had better keep an eye on this guy. Can’t have him eatin’ all the good stuff by himself. Finally, something good coming out of San Francisco . . . Heh! (db)
