My Pet Jawa has still images and an edited video of the brutal mutilation of the corpses of two of our soldiers who were kidnapped in Iraq, Kristian Menchaca and Thomas Tucker. It appears to be an Al Qaeda sponsored video, and will enrage you if you care about your country and the men and women who are fighting, and dying, for our freedoms.

The two victims, Kristian Menchaca and Thomas Tucker, were members of the 101st Airborne division abducted by al Qaeda in Iraq. A third soldier died in the attack.

Their bodies were later recovered not far from where they had been kidnapped. The US military now says that their corpses were found tied together with a bomb between them. Three roadside bombs were planted around the bodies. The bodies had been decapitated.

The video bears the logo of The Mujahadin Shura Council and al Qaeda in Iraq. Contrary to reports by al Qaeda and in the MSM, the video appears to show that the two soldiers were already dead before at least one of them was beheaded.

I looked at the pics, that was enough. Some might want to watch the video — many warnings as to the horrible, graphic nature of the desecration, so beware. Captain Ed put it like this:

In truth, I hesitated to do so earlier when I saw the post at Hot Air. In the end, I decided to watch the video as well as see the photographs, because I believe that we need to see who our enemies are in this war. We have shaded our eyes after 9/11 and even before that, allowing network news executives attempt to induce a collective amnesia by refusing to show the heartbreaking aftermath of the attack: people jumping out of windows 100 stories up because they had to choose between burning or falling to death.

This is what terrorists do. They try to suck all of our will to resist them by creating horrible images for us, taunting us with their cruelty and sadism. While we blather about whether Gitmo detainees might be bummed out with their three hots and a cot, Islamofascists butcher people for the fun of it. They do so because they want us to believe that we cannot beat them — that they are so evil that we cannot hope to compete with them.

That’s why I chose to view the video on Rusty’ site. We need to show that this butchery does not frighten us but steels our resolve to put a permanent end to such evil.

If you already understand why we fight, and have steely resolve, you probably don’t need to see this. If you are finding yourself a bit tired, worn down by the MSM barriage against our military and the GWOT, or feel your resolve waning, then you definitely do need to view these images, and possibly watch the video. But, it’s up to you. Don’t do so half-heartedly — this is not for fun and games, not entertaining in the least.

Butchers! We are fighting butchers! They must be eliminated from the planet.

There is no peace to be had with Al Qaeda — it will be either them, or us, in the end . . . (db)
