I'm looking forward to seeing Andy's film. I'm a big fan of the actor and I like the character and personality of the man. The Cubans have some great expressions which some people would call "malas palabras" (literally bad words) or curse words. Some of these phrases and words are particularly appropriate for Castro and his crew of degenerates, and also for the Hollywood crowd which is predominantly pro-Castro & Che (Belafonte, Glover, Robbins, etc. etc.). One expression that I particularly like is “COME MIERDA” which literally means, “sh_t eater” but to the Cuban it means you are an a_hole. So the sentence would go: Fidel, Belafonte, Glover, Robbins, y los otros son come mierdas de la primera clase.” Translation: Fidel, Belafonte, Glover, Robbins and others are first class a_holes. Well said and ‘nuff said.

I have always envisioned a day after the death/overthrow of Fidel Castro (seems like he's going to live forever, doesn't it?) when Cuba and the U.S. are friends once again. The casinos and beach hotels will be rebuilt and reopened, with Cuba a popular U.S. tourist destination again. Call me overly optimistic, but I think it will occur before I'm too old to travel there and enjoy it.
