Malkin “Vents” Mollohan Up Cheat River

Michelle Malkin skewers and roasts to perfection Rep. Alan B. Mollohan, 12-term congressman from West Virginia, on today’s Vent at HotAir.com. I especially liked the part about Mollohan’s business deal with Dale R. McBride, who ran a company that was funded to the tune of $2.1 million by a bill from the committee that Mollohan was a senior member of. Oh yeah, the name of the river location of that farm that Mollohan and McBride bought together — Cheat River! That’s too much!!!

But wait, there’s more (sorry Ginsu) . . . 12-term Mollohan was up until recently the most senior member on the House Ethics Committee and as Michelle notes in her “vent”, deals like the one with McBride are expressly warned about by the House Ethics Guidelines. Guess 24 years as a Congressman aren’t enough for some Dems to figure this stuff out. Any remedial courses available for these folks? ‘Cause it appears to takes an act of God to get some of them out of office! (db)
