Okie Got To See Some Fun Cars!
Taking a very short break from all the weirdness going on in this world so I wanted to tell you a bit about a special outing a week ago Sunday afternoon. A good friend of mine treated me to the Classics For Charity XIII car show sponsored by the Beverly Hills Mercedes dealership.
Along with all the old and new Mercedes, Ferraris, Maseratis and such were some good ol’ American iron, like this ’66 Pontiac GTO.
And then, there was this crazy motorcycle-type thing:
And then, there was this motorcycle of destruction!!!
That made me think of the Terminator – and what do you know, our Gov. was there to present some of the show awards.
They saved the best for inside the dealer’s showroom, like for instance this rare vintage Ferrari:
And then, there was that amazing 1925 Rolls-Royce Phantom, and much more that can be seen at my post over at the Hot Wheels Blog. Now, back to reality . . . (db)
