VOA News publishes the plight of one Abdul Rahman, a 40 year old Afghan man who has been arrested for converting to Christianity. No slap-on-the-wrist, or cut-off-a-hand-at-the-wrist offense, he is being tried for a capital crime and the prosecution is asking for the death penalty.

On Thursday the prosecution told the court Rahman has rejected numerous offers to embrace Islam.

Prosecuting attorney Abdul Wasi told the judge that the punishment should fit the crime.

He says Rahman is a traitor to Islam and is like a cancer inside Afghanistan. Under Islamic law and under the Afghan constitution, he says, the defendant should be executed.

On and on the MSM drones — Islam is a religion of peace. Here this poor schlub converts to Christianity 16 years ago in Germany, and now his family in the new democratic republic of Afghanistan wants him dead for it!

The Muslims in Great Britain want Sharia (Islamic Law) to be the law-of-the-land in that country — how long before they are the majority and vote it in? France, Germany and Italy? How long before the stoning pits are installed all across Europe? Africa is close to being lost to this religion of peace right now. Doug TenNapel puts it in perspective with a story idea that he tosses around but claims will never finish.

I have this sci-non-fi story I’ve been working on that is so silly I’ll never finish it…but it’s about American Democrats who hate Evengellicals so much that it becomes fashionable to become Radical Muslims (after all, who is my friend? My enemy’s enemy.) The Secularist scientists that are always claiming to find “the God Gene” which makes one likely to be religious is detected at the fetal stage of human development and the Democrats have them aborted…after all, it’s the religious who have been the primary killers of innocent life since the beginning…at least that’s what my college professor says.

When you hear crap like Senator Dick Durbin on the FOX News Sunday program (maybe the transcript will be up tomorrow) all but confirm that the Impeachment of Bush is a certainty if the Democrats take over the House this year, you know in your heart that Doug’s thinking is closer to fact than to fiction!
