Evidence of Global Warming?

It’s happened before — bound to happen again. Bet when/if it happens, the eco-fanatics will blame it on global warming. From UPI:

Scientist predicts ‘mini Ice Age’

Khabibullo Abdusamatov of the Pulkovo Astronomic Observatory in St. Petersburg said Monday that temperatures will begin falling six or seven years from now, when global warming caused by increased solar activity in the 20th century reaches its peak, RIA Novosti reported.

The coldest period will occur 15 to 20 years after a major solar output decline between 2035 and 2045, Abdusamatov said. [emph mine]

What d’ ya know, managed to get “falling temperatures” and “global warming” in the same ‘graph! Saw a program on the History Channel a few weeks ago about the Mini Ice Age, and they ended with a segment on global warming as the likely cause of the next one.

    I just finished reading Crichton’s State of Fear and am now pouring through the appendices, charts and links (the facts about the global warming myth.) For anyone interested in this subject, I highly recommend the read. As he points out in his book, and I learned as a studying Geomorphologist, Ice Ages happen approximately every 100,000 years. Little ones happen about every 20,000 years. The warming trend that we had been experiencing started 8000 to 10,000 years ago. The ice of the Wisconsin Glaciation began to recede nearly 20,000 years ago.

    Imagine what that really means. And the Environmentalist Fanatics know it. So they have to predict ‘Climatic Extremes’ when the eviodence negates their original claims.
