Mmm, Mmmm — Tasty!
After listening to Hugh’s show yesterday talking about Cuban cigars, and then reading Doug TenNapel’s post Onward Christian Smokers about 19th century preacher C.H. Spurgeon’s take on smoking and cigars, I just had to have one last night!
Doug quotes Spurgeon as saying:
If anybody can show me in the Bible the command, ‘Thou shalt not smoke,’ I am ready to keep it; but I haven’t found it yet. I find ten commandments, and it’s as much as I can do to keep them; and I’ve no desire to make them into eleven or twelve.
I have to agree! A very fine smoke, indeed — Mmm, Mmmm — Tasty!

I’m having cigar envy. My humidor is empty so I went to the 7-11 and got some stinky Captain Black’s pipe tobacco. I bought my pipe at Disneyland’s smokeshop in 1989 before political correctness closed down Walt’s FAVORITE part of the park. That glorious pipe couldn’t save the roof of my mouth from the inglorious burn that came from that tobacco. Yet still, I think I’ll smoke another bowl after lunch…
