Air America Funding Scandal — 10 Days & Counting — Still No MSM!

This Okie has been asking “What’s Up!” about the Air America funding scandal since July 29. None of the major U.S. dailies have bothered so far, but the bloggers are the piranhas feeding on the MSM’s withering appendages of disinformation and obfuscation. For example, Michelle Malkin is all over this!

This morning’s New York Post is reporting that New York State Attorney General Eliot Spitzer has launched an investigation into the shady $875,000 loan from Gloria Wise Boys & Girls Club to Air America.

Spitzer’s inquiry is focusing on the conduct of Gloria Wise’s board of directors. “The question is: Was their action appropriate?,” Spitzer spokesman Darren Dopp told the Post.

According to Bore America’s scandal clock, it has now been 10 days since the story first broke. “Air America” is currently the fifth most frequently searched term at Technorati. How much longer will Air America’s cheerleaders at the New York Times remain silent?

Along with Michelle we keep asking, how long before the NYTimes, Chicago Tribune, Washington Post & our local easy reader, the Los Angeles Times decide to actually report this important bit o’ news? If either Evan Cohen or Al Franken was a Republican, we’d be absolutely sick of reading and hearing about this by now! (db)
