Air America Funding Scandal — Starting to Break Out?

I noticed that on his radio show today Shawn Hannity was reading sections from Hugh Hewitt’s Weekly Standard column, The Air Out There. Shawn was giving Al Franken a royally hard time, which he so well deserves. Hugh, in his column states that this story might just be ready to break out in the MSM.

But nothing is so odd as the black-out of the story in the mainstream media. It took about a week from the first television mention of Eason Jordan’s Davos speech for that story to break out into the mainstream media. CNN’s Inside Politics blog segment covered the Air America story on July 29, so we may be getting close to break-out day. There is every indication–conflicting accounts, big names, big money–that the story has legs.

    Hi there OkieBoy. My name is Rachel Toles and I was there the day that Julia Melnikov (your old hygienist) was killed at the crosswalk on September 25th. I witnessed everything. I didn’t know who she was. After she was hit and landed her husband started screaming out. In a state of shock, I quickly began gathering up her belongings that were scattered all over Fairfax. Her shoe flew nearly a block. I stood there with her purse desperately calling the police. I pulled out her wallet and saw that she was a USC student as I am. That night has haunted me ever since. According to Lola’s Martini lounge (the place where she was having dinner) more than a dozen people have been killed at that same cross walk in the past couple of years. They said they’ve called and tried to get the city to put in a traffic light, but to know avail. I desperately want to do something about this. What can you suggest?
