Good Men Down — Gone — But, Not Forgotten
Today, or maybe by the time I finish this and it posts, yesterday, we were informed that 16 of our finest special forces warriors were lost in the shooting down of a MH-47 Chinook helecopter in the Afghanistan highlands. They were being sent in to find and rescue 4 of their own kind, whose whereabouts and status are still unknown. Hugh Hewitt has numerous links to information sites and to those sites set up to help our brave men and women of the military.
I’ll follow up on this tragedy later in the day, Friday, and over the weekend and through the 4th. May God have mercy on their souls — May we all remember and honor their sacrifice — May God continue to bless this great country for which they selflessly gave their absolute ALL . . . (db)
