Jesse Jackson, Terri Schiavo & the Florida Legislature
I’ve been listening to reports about Jesse Jackson trying to convince those Florida Senators, who last week voted against restoring Terri Schiavo’s feeding tube, to change their minds and for the Fl. Senate to take up this issue again tomorrow. It sure seemed like a super long shot, and I didn’t want to just relay false hope.
Hugh Hewitt just announced on his show that over the newswire it is said that 2 of the 3 necessary Senators have said that they will change their votes. Can Jesse save the day? Can Terri last another 24 hours? Time will tell, but God is great, and the ways sure are getting more mysterious, aren’t they? (db)
