If Michael Moore was disabled and being starved to death by a spouse, and his parents were willing to take responsibility and care for him, and if there was no clear evidence of his having expressed that he would not ever want to be left alive in that sort of condition, as much as I detest Moore, I would have to fight for keeping him alive. Human beings have intrinsic worth. Human life is sacrosanct. Even that of Michael Moore’s!

Bloggers and supporters of Terri are not what has made Terri’s plight a political issue, it was Michael Schiavo’s insistance on killing his wife, and the judge that has sided with him all along the way, plus all the other jurists that have either passed on ruling, or ruled against Terri, as well as disregarding the intent of Congress and the President that has done so.

This is an extremely tragic event. It is also an extremely important event, politically. (db)
