No More! It’s Done . . .

I am not going to write anything else about Terri Schiavo for now, at least not until she is no longer with us. Unfortunately for all of us, it is all over now but the dying. That may sound harsh, but since it is a fate that awaits us all, it’s not meant that way. The manner in which this particular death has been forced upon this tragic soul, however is supremely harsh, inhumane, immoral, and will need to be reckoned with at a future time.

Once I can relocate my bearings, calm my raging anger, and begin the research I will work via this blog to see that everyone that has had a hand in this killing is defeated at the ballot box, impeached from the bench, or just plain outed as the heartless S.O.B.s that they most certainly are. Now, that’s harsh!

On the day of Terri’s death, I’m sure that the clueless clowns of the fever swamp of the Left will dance in the streets, celebrating their “victory” over George Bush and those pesky Evangelical Christians. It will be the dance of fools! The humane among us will not be amused!

Let us pray for Terri, tonight and into tomorrow, Easter Sunday, and ask God to be merciful and end her suffering, and that of her parents and siblings by taking her soon. We have all clung to hope that she would be spared, but evidently that is not to be. Having lost both parents, I know that one clings to hope like a barnacle to a ship until the very end, wishing for one more day, hour, minute . . . until there are no more. Then, grieving overtakes you, and eventually healing can begin. We must not forget to pray for the Schindlers and their other children, for having gone through something as horrific as the past 12 years, and especially these last few weeks, they will need, and deserve our prayers for a long time to come.

Tomorrow is Easter, the celebration of the ultimate renewal — the Resurrection of Jesus Christ — God’s display of his superiority over death. The sacrifice of the Christ gives us our only hope of entering the Kingdom of Heaven, as none of us is near close to being worthy, no matter how many good works we might do. I know this intimately. I am supremely unworthy. I am a wretched sinner. I was doomed for eternity.

But the blood of Jesus has saved me, and I am redeemed, certainly not perfect, but “saved” nonetheless. You can be too! All you have to do is pray, asking God for forgiveness of your sins, and then ask the Lord Jesus Christ to come into your heart. Simple, huh? Betcha didn’t know it was that easy. You just have to have a little “faith”, and God will do the rest. Don’t miss out. You never know when “your” time on this good earth is going to run out . . . (db)

Michelle Malkin has a comprehensive list of links to updated information and other bloggers’ comments for those that want more. I am not blogging tomorrow — I am going to honor Easter with celebration of Christ’s Resurrection, a time of reflection on the last few weeks, and with prayers for Terri Schiavo, and for us all.
