[Update: 7:10pm]

Now there is a suspicious package alert at the District Courthouse in Tampa where the Schiavo case was being heard. No evacuation of the building took place and the bomb squad was called in to destroy it.

[Update: 6:55]

I’m not an idiot after all, there is a new review going on in Judge Whittemore’s Federal District Court with new evidence being reviewed. If this fails, it can once again go to the 11th Circuit and if necessary, back again to the Supreme Court. The limiter here is how long Terri can stay alive without hydration . . . (db)

[Update: 5:00pm]

Well, maybe I was listening with my heart instead of my ears, as I haven’t heard any more about this since the first report hours ago. More, when/if there is more . . . (db)

Keep praying folks ’cause even though it looks dire, it’s never too late, until it’s really too late.

KABC radio (LA) news reports that the Schiavo case has again been referred to the Federal Judge in Tampa, FL and that Judge Whittemore will hold a “mini trial” where evidence that has been called into question and evidence that circuit court judge Greer had ignored will be considered and ruled upon. The question now is, will Terri last through all the last minute legal wranglings?

The family is pleading with Governor Jeb Bush to exercise some form of Executive authority and place Terri under “protective custody” and get the feeding/hydrating tube reinstated post haste.

Pray for Terri, Gov. Bush and for Judge Whittemore to come through. (db)
