[Heads up: Blogs for Terri]
From LifeNews.com:

Media Bias in Terri Schiavo Case at Extreme Levels in AP, Reuters Reports
Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) — With the world’s attention focused on Terri Schiavo, the media has picked up on the story of her plight. However, some say the bias in the news reporting has reached extreme levels as media outlets attempt to shape public opinion in favor of starving her to death.
(…)
While the news article mentioned the Vatican’s opposition to Terri’s starvation, the rest of the piece interviewed Islamic and Jewish thinkers who favor starving Terri.

The Monday AP report closed with comments from a leader of a Dutch pro-euthanasia group and quoted a German newspaper accusing American political leaders of using Terri’s case for political gain.

Other than a couple of comments from a Vatican newspaper, the article contained no quotes or attributions from world leaders or religious thinkers who oppose starving Terri.
(…)
“From Los Angeles to Miami to New York, the press, for the most part has become Michael Schiavo’s and George Felos’ propaganda machine,” Rojas concluded.

And in another instance also called to our attention at Blogs for Terri, and I saw this live as well:

Fox News: Terri is PVS and has a liquefied brain – from a reader via email

Shep Smith (NY) just assured the public that Terri is PVS and has a liquefied brain.

And this is FOXNews, not ABC, NBC, CBS or CNN. God only knows what is being said on air at those networks. I mean, I heard Shepard Smith say multiple times that Terri Schiavo was “brain dead”! PVS! Nothing that can be done! She’s had all the tests!

B.S., Shep, complete lyin’ B.S.! This is one of those great “sorting out” issues that can cause a sea change in society. We are getting a very clear picture of who believes what, and what they are willing to stand up for or against. The ‘06 election cycle is gonna heat up big time, and we’re gonna all be there with the lists! (db)

[Update: 3:05 pm]

Dammit all! The judge is completely dragging his feet and says that “he will make a decision when he makes a decision” and he will not have the feeding tube reinserted in the mean time. Sounds like the good justice is hoping that Terri will just die while he is investigating the issue. That would be convenient, for him!

BTW – the judge is a Clinton appointee. See why we need the Republicans in the Senate to get rid of the cloture rule in regards to up-or-down votes on judicial nominees? Bush needs to get as many “Life Advocates” installed on the Federal bench as possible in the next four years to slow down the establishment of pro “Culture of Death” legal precedents.
