Captain Ed’s First Mate in Good Shape!
Looks like Captain Ed’s wife, Marcia, made it through the pancreas transplant surgery in good shape and her recovery is progressing well. Ed writes:
The First Mate has just arrived at her room, and needless to say, she’s way out of it. However, in speaking with the nurse, I found out that she’s stable, her kidney function is excellent, and her blood sugar remains at a normal 114 — without any post-surgical insulin whatsoever. It looks like a great indication of transplant success.
Prayers answered for sure. Keep praying! (db)
