[Welcome President Boxer visitors, hang out and read a few pages, you might just learn something!]

(Heads up: Drudge)

From today’s Washington Times:

Sen. Boxer takes victim role after hearing for Rice

Audrey Hudson reports — Sen. Barbara Boxer says she is the real victim of last week’s confirmation hearing for Secretary of State-designate Condoleezza Rice, yet continued yesterday to question the national security adviser’s honesty.

“She turned and attacked me,” the California Democrat told CNN’s “Late Edition” in describing the confrontation during the Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing. “I gave Dr. Rice many opportunities to address specific issues. Instead, she said I was impugning her integrity,” Mrs. Boxer said.

Poor little Barbara Boxer, re-elected Senator from the great state of California. (Say it “Caaa leee foooor nee aa” now, thanks to Arnold!) This woman is so clueless that if you gave her one she would lose it. With the Democratic party reduced to this stagnant-myopic talent pool, and with their leadership efforts focusing around Nancy Pelosi, Ted Kennedy and Howard Dean, it should be entertaining to watch the “Donner Party”, excuse me, I mean the “Donkey Party”, as it eats it own while continuing to unravel.

Have to give some props to our Senator Dianne Feinstein though. I saw her on FOXNews Sunday and she made a strong statement of support for Condoleezza Rice. She wouldn’t call Boxer’s conduct for what I believe it was, nothing more or less than political grandstanding, but did have the following to say. From the Washington Times report:

California’s other Democratic senator, Dianne Feinstein, declined on “Fox News Sunday” to comment on Mrs. Boxer’s questioning, but said her colleague “was within her rights” to question a presidential nominee.
“I don’t happen to agree; I happen to strongly support Condoleezza Rice,” Mrs. Feinstein said. “I don’t want to see her diminished in the eyes of the world. I want to see her confirmed. She will be.” (em mine)

The report goes on to mention that Democratic West Virginia Senator, Robert (“KKK”) Bird, was responsible for holding up the hearings last week, therefore not allowing Rice to be confirmed before the inauguration, and that nine hours of hearings (9 hours!) will begin tomorrow.

Man, can you stand another nine hours of Democratic whining? Just when you think that you have seen the depths of stupidity from the Dems, they give you another dose. Now Condi will have nine hours to humiliate them again, like she did to Boxer last week. I guess that they will never learn. Go Condi, go! (db)
